Well, it was a very long, but lovely day, as we spent the entire 10 hours at the Polynesian Cultural Center, run by the Mormon Church for 60 years. We took a one hour bus ride from the ship and used our tickets to "travel" to the Islands of Polynesia.  It was a well laid out walk to see and hear about the people and their cultures in the 6 main islands. It included games, native dance, and history of the various areas.

The Center was beautifully laid out around waterway.  John even paddled an outrigger canoe in it.

The scenery was gorgeous and each"island" had its own signage annoucing its entrance.  By the way, check out Robbi's hand-made flower lei that she made and has babied along for a week!!

Then we concluded our day with a buffet meal of native fruits and native foods.  Finally we sat in an open-air arena and were treated to a spectacular presentation of all of teh rituals of islands combined in a show entitled HA -- The Breath of Life!  A fitting conclusion to our day!!  Too hard to describe in words on the blog!! Had to be seen to to be appreciated
